Admission Procedures
At VMS we view admissions as the beginning of a meaningful partnership.
Whether you’re seeking care for your infant or planning ahead for preschool,
we’re here to guide you through the process with clarity, warmth, and transparency.

We welcome children from 6 weeks to 6 years of age. Admission is based on class availability and a mutual decision between the family and the administration that VMS is the right fit for the child--and that the family is a good fit for our school community.
If space is not available, families may join our waitlist at no cost.

We are delighted you are considering VMS.

Our infant and toddler programs are thoughtfully designed to provide the youngest children with a nurturing, home-like environment where they can build loving, trusting relationships with familiar caregivers. Enrollment for this program is limited, and priority is given to families who intend to continue with our preschool program.

Montessori preschool education is built on a three-year cycle of learning and development. For that reason, families are encouraged to plan for their child to attend our preschool program for a minimum of two years.
VMS operates on a non-discriminatory basis, offering equal access to services without regard to race, color, religion, national origin, or ancestry.
