We encourage parent(s)/guardian(s) to visit area schools to get an idea of what each program may offer their family.

ADMISSION PROCEDURES

• A classroom tour is scheduled  with the Lead Teacher.  At this time enrollment paperwork is provided to the parent(s)/guardian(s).  After the tour parent(s)/guardian(s) direct any additional questions to the Head of School.
• After the classroom tour and if the parent(s)/guardian(s) want to enroll their child(ren) at Vista Montessori School, they contact the Head of School at vistamontessori@ymail.com or 208.343.0201 to schedule an Admission Meeting.  At this meeting, the Admission Application and non-refundable $65.00 registration fee are submitted.  Additional admission paperwork is provided to the parent(s)/guardian(s).
• The additional admission paperwork must be signed and returned to Vista Montessori School before the child's first day of school.  Current Immunization Records or an Idaho State Exemption Form must be submitted within 14 days of the child's first day of school.
• Montessori preschool education is based on a three-year cycle; therefore, families should plan for a child to attend Vista Montessori School's preschool program a minimum of two years.
• Admission to Vista Montessori School is based on class availability and determination by the parent(s)/guardian(s) and Lead Teacher that the child is ready.  In the event that a space is not available, your family will be placed on our waiting list - free of charge.  Once a space opens, families on our waiting list will be contacted and the child will be enrolled.
